The Execution tab

Which way of entering and exiting pays you, added up over your addon trades; the book when you got in, on Master; why most rows show a count instead of a figure; and which plans open it.

What it shows

The Execution tab sits between Journal and Community. It answers one question: which way of entering and exiting pays you, added up over the trades the Norden Statistics addon recorded. It groups your entries by how they were placed (paid, crossing to get in, or rested on your own side, and the queue ahead of it) and by how long the order waited for its first fill, and shows what each group paid you: the win rate, the median ticks a lot and, on live, the median result a trade. It groups your exits by the time to your next entry, and shows how often price kept going your way once you were out. Each trade's own figures stay on the dashboard feed and in the Journal, on every plan; the tab is what they add up to, group by group.

It needs the addon. Bookmap's own export records no order placement, and it measures price after the exit over a window of its own, not the addon's, so without the addon the tab has nothing to add up. The export's own reading after the exit still shows in the Journal, on each of its trades, as MAE Post and MFE Post.

It reads one instrument in one mode at a time: live, sim and replay never pool. Pick the window at the top: the last thirty days, the last ninety days, which is where it opens, or All. In the Journal, the line Execution for and the month, on the month panel, opens the tab on that month; the line under the dashboard's feed opens it on the instrument you were trading.

Apart from When you trade, only sessions the addon recorded are read. Bookmap's own export carries no placement and measures after the exit over another window, so those trades stay in the Journal and the tab says how many there were.

Why most rows show a count instead of a figure

A figure prints once its row holds fifty trades. Under that, the row shows a grey bar and how far it has got, "11 of 50" for instance, and no rate: a win rate over eleven trades moves nine points with the twelfth. When nothing in the window reaches fifty, the tab says so once, shows what it holds, and offers a wider window.

Two reads wait in the strip Still filling at the bottom: Scaled positions, how the heat your first contract took compares with the heat from your average entry, which shows once fifty scaled trades carry the first contract's price, and Week by week, which draws once four weeks each hold thirty trades whose placement the addon saw. Each gets a card of its own once it gets there.

Medians, never averages, because a few trades drag an average across zero. Dollars print on live sessions only; sim and replay read in ticks. Replay is not read after the exit, because older replays never recorded that window, nor by the hour, because a replay carries the recording's clock. A trade whose placement reads more than an hour before its first fill is set aside and counted, because that clock belongs to another order.

Which plans open it

When your account runs on a plan, Execution comes with Pro and Master. If your plan does not open it, the tab shows a padlock beside its title, which way of entering and exiting it would add up for you, that it needs the addon, and which plans open it, with nothing of yours behind the lock, and the Execution lines under the feed and on the Journal's month panel are not shown. If the tab opens on your own figures, it is open to you, whatever plan you are on. If the addon has not recorded a session of yours yet, the tab says that first, with the way to set up your recording: until it records, there is nothing to add up on any plan.

When your account runs on a plan, the section The book when you got in comes with Master. On Pro, its place on the tab shows a padlock, what it compares and which plan opens it, with nothing of yours behind it, and it shows under the counts too while no row has filled; each trade's own book stays in the Journal's trade replay on every plan.
